Climate Change and Environment- ARIJ

Climate change and its consequences on environment could affect all three dimensions of food security:
food availability, food accessibility, and food utilization.

Climate change is expected to make water resources scarcer. Palestine has already high degree of aridity and pronounced rainfall variability across its territories and is therefore highly vulnerable to drought. It could have an effect not only on the natural environment but on political and socio-economic environment in Palestine.
