Shuqba Caves

Shuqba Caves

The Shuqba Caves are an archeological site near the town of Shuqba in the western mountains. Located in the northern bank of Wadi en-Natuf, within the broader prehistoric landscape of Beitilu Nature Reserve.  Explorations in the early 20th century revealed charcoal traces, crescent shaped “lunates” (stone tools), and skeletal remains.
