The First Exhibition About Nature Reserves and Biodiversity in Palestine
The idea of the exhibition came after several years of work in the nature reserves. More than 4,000 people participated in hiking envrionmental trails in 23 nature reserves that were funded by the Hanns Seidel Foundation and supported by the Environmental Quality Authority.
The exhibition was held in the Nativity Church Square in Bethlehem, and in Independence Park in Ramallah. The exhibition included 200 pictures, divided into 5 topics including: plants, animals, nature reserves, eco-tourism and birds.
The exhibition promoted environmental awareness to preserve Palestinian biodiversity, with a focus on the importance of this issue in achieving ecological balance.
The exhibition was implemented after a period of governmental lockdowns due to the Covid 19 pandemic. It was a space for the local community to enjoy and learn about the importance of conserving the environment.
