Jabal al-Aqara reserve

The reserve is located on the foothills of the mountains between the towns of Seres and Methlon, south of Jenin, Jabal al-Aqar. The reserve is a place for recreation and enjoyment of the landscape for the people of the region. The reserve contains an important diversity of wild and natural plants and forest trees, and is a transit point for migratory birds.

When the visitors go through the protected lands, the trail of the reserve forms upwards to the foothills of the mountain, while the visitor can rest within it in different locations of the mountain, where the trail of the reserve is characterized as middle one.

The settlement of Mavodotan is adjacent to the reserve. The reserve is also subject to various community aggressions.
