Status: Uncommon

It is one of the two types of agamas in Palestine, reaching a length of 25 cm. It climbes the trees and rocks quickly. It is found in Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Jordan, Sudan and it spreads in the wilderness of Jerusalem and the Dead Sea.

Its middle toe is longer than the rest of the foot, which is what distinguishes it from the other two agamas  in Palestine
