Description: A slim very agile snake, grey a yellowish -gray snake . There are two color variations depending on the habitat, with differences appearing in Mediterranean and desert environments. The length of an adult specimen can reach up to 170 cm. It is active during the day and is distinguished from other snakes by its rapid movement.
This snake is considered non-venomous but is aggressive and may bite if handled. It is relatively common and found in a wide range of habitats except for sandy areas. It is an excellent climber of cliffs and walls, and its diet consists of lizards, birds, and rodents.
