Faqqua (Iris haynei) Trail

The trail goes from the village of Faqqua, the home of the famous Iris – the national plant of Palestine – through beautiful plains where one can see and marvel at the rare Iris. As Faqqua lies on a hill, the track leads up to the top of the hill where the scenic view is spectacular.

Apart from the flower, the Palestinian gazelle is seen in this region. The trail ends 3 km from its starting point south of the village.
