Artas-Tuqu Trail
The trail starts from the village of Artas and passes the Solomon Pools. It wanders through the Wadi Artas past Ein Artas, roman water channels and a cave and comes to the village of Khalayl l-Louz. Wandering through high hills you then arrive at the village of Hermala where you can get a break and rest.
Nearby you can visit the Mount Herodion with a height of 760 m above sea level. You can find the Herodion there containing ruins of a palace fortress and a small town.
The trail comes to an end at the village of Tuqu in the south where you can discover historical and archaeological sites.
