Burqin Church Jenin
Burqin Church, also known as St. George*s Church, is located in the small village of Burquine. It is a Byzantine-era Orthodox church which was once set up as a cave church in the Roman period and changed its appearance several times throughout the history. In Christian tradition, Jesus passed this village on his way to Jerusalem and healed miraculously ten lepers by touching their faces. That is way Burquin Church became a popular station for pilgrims.
